Teesri Manzil is a crime thriller directed by Vijay Anand and produced by Nasir Hussain. Shammi Kapoor, Asha Pareikh , Helen and Prem Chopra are the lead cast in this movie. It was major success at the Box Office.

Anil Kumar (Shammi Kapoor) one night observes an young woman called Roopa jumping from third floor. Sunita’s sister called Roopa (Asha Pareikh) thinks that she committed for suicide because of her affair with a singer Rocky. Rocky is none other than Anil only. Instantly after watching Sunita he falls to her charms.

Later policeman comes to know that, Roopa was pushed by some person because of the button in her hand. Police man suspects Ramesh (Prem Chopra) and Ruby (Helen). Who is the real killer is the suspense till the end of the movie.

Asha Parekh got an early start in movies thanks to Bimal Roy when she was just twelve years old. After a record number of hits like Teesri Manzil and Love in Tokyo, she started directing and producing television serials. She also became the first woman to head the Central Board of Film Certification and was the treasurer for the Cine and Television Artists Association.
