Bobby was the biggest hit of Bollywood in 1973. It was biggest hit in 1970’s after Sholay. Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia were paired opposite each other. It was a feel good love story directed Raj Kapoor.
Story revolves around a rich business man Mr. Nath (Pran)’s only son Raj Nath (Rishi Kapoor) and a poor fisher man Jack (Prem Nath)’s daughter Bobby (Dimple Kapadia). Jack respects his daughter’s love and tries to speak with Mr.Nath.
But Mr. Nath humiliates jack and arranges marriage to Raj with a rich girl (Farida Jala). Raj escapes from home to meet Bobby. How Bobby and Raj wins their love and what are the problems they faced in their journey is the remaining story
