Qurbani was released in 1980 and was directed by Feroz Khan. This movie was the biggest movie of that year. The movie revolves around robberies and mafia. But Feroz Khan took care about the love scenes also. Amjad Khan features as a cop.
Rajesh (Feroz Khan) is a thief who is in love with Sheela (Zeenat Aman). Sheela is a dancer in a night club. When Rajesh meets Amar who is a young widower they both becomes very good friends. Rajesh wants to send Amar to U.K along with his daughter Tina (Natasha Chopra) For this they rob some gold bars. Rajesh gets imprisoned. Later he meets Amar in U.K.
Amrish Puri and Aruna Irani also played key roles in this movie. This film received two Filmfare awards. Pakistan singer Nazia Hassan sang a song in this movie. Music which was composed by Kalyanji Anandji got a very huge response. Qurbani Qurbani song received a special award as an ever green song from Rakhesh Roshan.Vinod Khanna received very good fame in the character Amar.
